Speakers Express Boeblingen was originally founded in 1971 as the Stuttgart International Toastmasters Club, making it one of the first Toastmasters International clubs in continental Europe. Over the past 54 years, we have received numerous club awards. In 2024, we adopted our current name, Speakers Express Boeblingen.

Do I have to give a speech on my first visit?
No, guests don’t have to give a speech. You can simply relax and watch and get a feeling for how things will go. If you’d like, you can also participate in the impromptu speeches.
Where do the meetings take place?
Our meetings take place at the AIxpress Startup Center in Böblingen, Röhrer Weg 8, 71032 Böblingen. The venue is centrally located and easily accessible.
Do I need to be an experienced speaker to participate?
No, everyone is welcome here from beginners to experienced speakers. We support each other.
What does a typical meeting look like?
An evening consists of prepared speeches, impromptu speaking (short, spontaneous speeches), and constructive feedback. There is also plenty of time for conversation and networking—a great opportunity to meet new people and build connections in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Can I bring someone with me as a guest?
Of course! You are welcome to bring friends or colleagues. It is best if they also register via MeetUp so we can ensure that enough seats are available, but this is not mandatory.
Which language is spoken at Speakers Express Boeblingen?
We are an English-speaking club. With us you can give speeches in English and improve your language skills in a supportive and safe environment.
